Friendly Educators Tutorial program supports homeschool parents and students by providing high-quality classes taught by experienced teachers in a distinctly Christian environment. We meet once a week on Mondays at Lawndale Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC.
Homeschooling can sometimes make us feel like we are alone and isolated. Friendly Educators is an opportunity to join a vibrant and supportive community. We offer challenging classes that will meet your academic core requirements, plus fun and unique electives where you can try new things. Lunch break offers a chance to connect with others and a weekly chapel workshop time.

English & Literature
Friendly Educators offers courses ranging from English l, ll and lll for high school, middle school IEW, Phonics, Creative Writing and more. If your family seeks to enhance the English & Literature skills of your child, we are here to help.
Science
Our tutorial is proud to offer both entry-level and advanced science courses. Some classes include General Science, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry and Crazy Concoctions for our youngest scientists. New classes this year include Anatomy, Forensic Science and the Science and Art of Food.
Mathematics
Mathematics courses offered include Pre-Algebra, Algebra l and ll, Geometry and Pre-Calculus. We also offer many elementary math classes for our younger students such as Nature and Numbers and Pet Shop Math.

Language Arts
Our tutorial includes many opportunities to advance in languages, as well as the study of narration and public speaking. We offer introductory Spanish, Spanish l, American Sign Language and Public Speaking and Speech and Debate.
History & Geography
Even the youngest of Friendly Educators students have the opportunity to start learning about the history of our country, world geography, and international cultures. Courses offered include American History, Geography, World Religions, Mock Trial and American Government & Economics.
Fine Arts
The arts are valued at Friendly Educators as part of a well-rounded education. Some courses offered include Music Appreciation, Fine Arts, Photography, Theater Arts and Music.
